Kevin Rudd: Climate Change is the biggest Moral Challenge of our lifetime

I left this comment at http://thom0s.wordpress.com/2010/04/27/kevin-rudd-climate-change-is-the-biggest-moral-challenge-of-our-lifetime

Moral challenge! My sweet Fanny Adams!

Moral challenge?

This is nothing to do with morality! Its just common sense.

Global warming hoax is gradually being exposed and your upper house is saving the day.

Wish we had an upper house in my country.

All we have is an elected dictatorship who are going to tax us for no reason except strangely enough that taxing the taxpayer buys votes in this country.

If you guys want to get taxed, why dont you come over here. Give you a chance to contribute to an ETS as well. In fact please accept my personal invitation!

But just keep quiet about the morality/religious bit will you. If there is any judgement to be made, it will be sorting out the criminals when all gets exposed.

 Cheers Roger

Hi Roger,

You are 100% right. I hope you don’t think I actually support an ETS. I CERTAINLY DO NOT. I for one am glad its put on the back burner. My point in this article was more to do with the stupid statements our Prime Minister came up with when sprooking the ETS and how when public opinion changed so did his convictions. The Headline was a quote from Rudd and in no way my personal opinion.

Well I’d like to think not. But history tells us he will. Undoubtably he is the worst Prime Minister Australia has ever had. Its one disaster and backflip after another.

However as I say in NSW we have had this sort of mis management for 15 years and some how Labor still manage to get in.

If Tony Abbott can contain his tongue he may just give them a run for our money. Dont forget if it wasnt for him Australia would have had an ETS. Extremely gutsy move to challenge for the leadership over it.

Kevin Rudd knew all along that AGW is a load of garbage. He simply chose to ride it into the last election as the majority of the population were brainwashed by the alarmist and the massive scare campaign so it meant he gained a heap of votes. However it really is coming back to bite him in the butt now as if he really did believe it was so serious then there is no way he would put it on the shelf until 2013. The greatest moral and environmental issue of our generation – Ah don’t worry about it for a while, we’ll deal with it later. He knows his ETS and CPRS are now unpopular and will cost him votes so doesn’t want to have them on the table before an election. Krudd always has been and always will be simply seeking popularity rather than making real policies that benefit our nation.
